US Position On EastMed Project Is Not Politically Driven, State Department Official Says

US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Erika Olson, has told the Cyprus News Agency (CNA) that there is no political motivations in the US position to pull back from the EastMed pipeline project, adding that her country favours projects that will enable the clean energy transition and connect energy markets in the Eastern Mediterranean.
