Nudging for Good: Behavioural Science for Policy Decisions in Cyprus

Insights and applications from behavioural science are at the cutting edge of policy innovation. Richard Thaler, awarded with the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2017 for his contributions to behavioural economics, was instrumental in establishing the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT), UK, the world’s first government institution dedicated to the application of behavioural science to policy. Currently there are more than 135 such organizations worldwide.
