Louis Eliades, Director of Global Business Solutions and Services, and Logicom Solutions, gave digital insights in his presentation at the 13th CFO Management Forum. He explained why gaining business insights is what matters most in managing and running a business. CFOs today are faced with a fundamental change of role: they “manage the business” – taking the big, upper-level strategic decisions, such as planning, budgeting and forecasting – and they “run the business” of day-to-day (or even minute-to-minute) operational decision-making, such as business unit profitability or sales and marketing.
