Biden to Hold Meetings with Anastasiades, Tsipras, Erdogan and Akinci

  US Vice President Joe Biden, arrives in New York City on Monday for the 71st Regular Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 71) and for meetings with world leaders, including Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Turkish President Tayip Erdogan, Cyprus News Agency reports.

According to Biden`s office, he will also meet Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci.

His meeting with Tsipras will take place on Tuesday, September 20 at the UN headquarters while the meeting with Erdogan will be held at the Peninsula Hotel where the Turkish President is staying.

Biden will also meet Anastasiades on Thursday, September 22 at the Intercontinental Hotel where the US delegation is residing. He will also meet Akinci on the same day at the same venue.
