Georgiades Cautiously Optimistic about Significant Decline in NPLs by the end of 2016

  The Minister of Finance Harris Gerogiades said on May 6, he was cautiously optimistic that by the end of 2016, there will be a significant decline in the level of non-performing loans, according to the Cyprus News Agency.
Speaking on the sidelines of a conference for the Capital Markets Union in Nicosia, he said his optimism was based on very specific data already confirmed and announced. He also noted that there will be a drop in the level of non-performing loans just as there has been a significant decline in the rate of unemployment.
