EC Terminates the Excessive Deficit Procedure for Cyprus

The European Commission has decided to abrogate the excessive deficit procedure for Cyprus, one year ahead of the actual deadline, the Cyprus News Agency reports.
The decision was taken today in a number of steps under the Stability and Growth Pact, by the College of Commissioners.
