Secondary School Students to Receive Grant for Laptops

Secondary school students with financial problems will be eligible for up to €400 from the government to purchase a new laptop, the cabinet decided on April 27, the Cyprus Mail reports.
The students or their families will have to be recipients of state aid or Guaranteed Minimum Income. The grant applies to students in the second year of state high schools, private secondary schools registered with the education ministry, and students on evening secondary school foundation courses.
