Alpha Cyprus: New TV Channel to Operate in April

Alpha TV Cyprus will be up and running as of April 4, it was announced on March 21. The station, an offshoot of the Greek Alpha TV, will offer news and entertainment shows, from Greece and Cyprus.
The station’s general manager Petros Petrou said, in a press conference to introduce the new channel, that this is “perhaps the most important financial investment” that has taken place in the local media sector in recent years, as around 100 people have been hired.
