Buyers Apply to Release Properties from Developers

Over 8,000 home owners whose properties were used by failing property developers as collateral have applied to the government to request their release.
“As of today, 8,430 applications have been submitted, of which 3,000 relate to properties for which a title deed has been issued,” according to the island’s Interior Ministry in a statement on March 17.
