Moves to Facilitate Cyprus University Entrance

The Cabinet will be asked on February 10 to consider a proposal to make it easier for private school pupils to enter state universities.
President Nicos Anastasiades made the revelation while addressing last week’s University of Cyprus postgraduate graduation ceremony and UCY further clarified the effort on February 8.
In his address, which was read out by Education Minister Costas Kadis, the President said the Education Ministry had formed the proposal in cooperation with the University of Cyprus and Cyprus University of Technology (CUT).
