Eide: Federal Viability a Top Priority

Espen Barth Eide, the UN Secretary General’s Special Adviser on Cyprus, has affirmed the significance of ensuring the authority and economic viability of a federal structure on the island. In the context of ongoing reunification negotiations, Eide reported on a number of ongoing processes following a meeting with President Nicos Anastasiades on Friday.
