IP Cyprus on New EU Trademark System

As the new EU Trademark System is soon to come into force – with a commencement date of March 23 – IP Cyprus has encouraged trademark owners to review their portfolios in order to ensure they take the necessary actions for the protection of their marks.
In a post on IP Cyprus’ official website, it explains that one of the main changes relates to any trademarks that were applied for before 22 June 2012, bearing only the class heading of the class.
