Government Reduces Military Service to 14 Months

  The Council of Ministers decided on February 25 to reduce the military service. In statements after the Council’s meeting, Defence Minister Christoforos Fokaides said that conscripts who joined in the summer of 2015 will serve 18 months, while new conscripts will serve 14 months.
