Georgiades: Post-Solution Financial Structures Need To Be In Line With EU Norms and Regulations

A Cyprus settlement will bring along various benefits, however, financial structures and procedures need to be in line with the EU norms and regulations, to avoid potential risks, Finance Minister Harris Georgiades said here on Saturday, December 3, according to Cyprus News Agency.

Asked if there were any developments as regards the assessment of the banks in the Turkish-occupied areas of Cyprus (by the IMF and the World Bank), the Minister said that there is still some way to go regarding this effort.
