Kasoulides to Take Part in OSCE Mediterranean Conference

Cypriot Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides is set to take part in the OSCE Mediterranean Conference in Vienna, between October 5 and 6, which will focus on “Youth North and South of the Mediterranean: Facing Security Challenges and Enhancing Opportunities”, Cyprus News agency reports.

Kasoulides is taking part in the conference following an invitation by his Austrian counterpart Sebastian Kurz, an official press release issued here today says.

He departs from Cyprus on Tuesday for Athens where he will address an event marking the anniversary of Cyprus` independence organised by the Cypriots who live in Greece.

On Wednesday he travels to Vienna to take part in the OSCE Mediterranean Conference.

On Thursday, the press release adds, Kasoulides will have a bilateral meeting with Kurz to discuss matters such as bilateral relations, the Cyprus problem, Euro-Turkish relations, the EU`s future after the Brexit referendum result as well as regional matters of common interest.
