Fokaides to Meet with His Austrian Counterpart on an Official Visit

Defence Minister Christoforos Fokaides has departed for Austria on Sunday, for an official visit, at the invitation of his counterpart Hans Peter Doskozil, Cyprus News Agency reports.
The two Ministers will discuss bilateral relations and their joint initiatives in the framework of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC). The Austrian Military Academy is set to sign a memorandum of cooperation with Open University and University of Nicosia in Cyprus.
Fokaides and Doskozil are also going to discuss other issues of mutual interest such as the migration crisis and terrorism.
