Gold Magazine: Seeking FDI in NYC

The first Cyprus Economic & Investment Summit, held in New York last month, attracted a considerable number of US-based institutional investors and representatives of private equity firms, hedge funds, asset management firms and others. Attended by President Nicos Anastasiades, it was addressed by Finance Minister Harris Georgiades, the IMF’s Resident Representative in Cyprus, Vincenzo Guzzo, and the Managing Director of Third Point LLC, David W. Bonanno, whose company is currently the largest shareholder in Hellenic Bank (sponsor of the Summit). The October issue of Gold (out on Sunday, 16 October), presents the key points made by all seven speakers (the others being Hellenic Bank Group Chairwoman Irena Georgiadou, CIPA Chairman Christodoulos Angastiniotis, CIFA President Angelos Gregoriades and CySEC Chairwoman Demetra Kalogerou) plus photos of the event.
